Australian Family Partnership Program

The Pilbara Aboriginal Health Alliance (PAHA) are thrilled to announce that we are the proud recipients of a new Grant Agreement from the Commonwealth Department of Health, to deliver the Australian Family Partnership Program (AFPP) to the Pilbara Member Services Puntukurnu Aboriginal Medical Service; Mawarnkarra Health Service and Wirraka Maya Health Service Aboriginal Corporation.

Program Objectives

The program aims to:

improve maternal and child health and wellbeing outcomes for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander families by assisting women to engage in good preventive health practices; 

support parents to improve their child’s health and development;

and assist parents to develop a vision for their own futures, including continuing education and finding work.
