Dear Members and Friends of the Alliance, Well, what a year it’s been! When I came on board last November the PAHA Board had outlined a very clear strategic path and an operational plan to take us down that path. It was a very exciting inventory of work for what was then ‘just the two of us’ Jodie Burgess and myself. Jodie was there at the start of the formation of PAHA and was instrumental in supporting its setup.

Welcome everyone to our third newsletter for the year. We have had some exciting times over the last few months which I hope you enjoy reading about below.

We are thrilled to be working together with the Australian Family Partnership Program will see an increase in support and improved health outcomes for Mums and Bubs in the Pilbara, with the newly appointed PAHA Nurse Coordinator, Samantha Barba we are sure this program will be a deadly success.

The focus of the Conference was around Data, Data Sovereignty, Aboriginal Health amongst other topics. I was fortunate enough with my fellow brother Ashley Councillor from Wirraka Maya Health Service Aboriginal Corporation to present an amazing project we are working on called Our Story Our Way
